Know someone who needs video?
Introduce us. Get paid.
No form to fill in, no portal to join, no tracking link to remember. Send an email introduction. If they become a client, you get a cheque.
We split the first month with you 50/50. Then you keep earning 10% of every month they stay, through their first year.
On a typical engagement that’s $7,200 – $10,400 for one introduction. On a Video Department engagement it’s closer to $19,000. Paid as we’re paid — real money, not credits, not a future discount.
One-off projects work a little differently: a flat 10%, since there’s no second month to share. Everything below applies either way.
What one introduction is actually worth
| If they sign | Month 1 (50/50) | Months 2–12 (10%) | Your first year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pipeline Engine — $4,500/mo | $2,250 | $4,950 | $7,200 |
| Pipeline Engine — $6,500/mo | $3,250 | $7,150 | $10,400 |
| Video Department — $12,000/mo | $6,000 | $13,200 | $19,200 |
| One-Time Video — from $3,500 | flat 10% | $350+ | |
Figures assume the client stays the full year. You’re paid monthly as they pay us, so if they leave early you keep everything earned up to that point — nothing is clawed back.
How it works
- Introduce us. An email with both of us on it is perfect. One line about why you thought of it beats any pitch we could write.
- We take it from there. We’ll never chase, spam, or lean on someone because you passed their name along. If it isn’t a fit, we say so and it ends politely — your relationship with them matters more to us than one deal.
- They sign, you get paid. We tell you the moment it happens, and the payment follows their first cleared invoice.
Who’s actually a fit
Being honest about this saves everyone time. The people we do our best work for tend to look like this:
- B2B or SaaS, selling to other businesses
- They already believe video matters — they just can’t staff it in-house
- Something is happening: a launch, a raise, a repositioning, a product nobody understands yet
- They can carry a real budget — our work starts in the thousands, not the hundreds
Not a fit: companies with a full in-house video team, other video and production agencies, or anyone shopping purely on price. Sending those isn’t a failure — it just won’t turn into anything for either of us.
What they get
Two senior operators, not an agency bench. Fred handles research, direction and attribution. Hannah is our on-camera presenter — a real professional, never an AI avatar. One recording session a month becomes video that gets found where buyers actually look.
And the part most video companies can’t offer: we tag which video produced which booked call. Your contact won’t be guessing whether it worked.
The fine print, kept short
- Introduce them before we’re already talking to them — first introduction counts.
- Paid monthly, as their invoices clear — first payment after month one.
- Runs for their first twelve months. Nothing is clawed back if they leave early.
- No cap on how many people you introduce.
- Please don’t mass-message your network on our behalf. Personal introductions only — that’s the whole point, and it’s the only kind that works.
Make an introduction
Email fred@tracemedia.io — or just reply to whatever thread we’re already on. If you’d rather talk it through first, book a call.
And if you’re not sure whether someone qualifies, ask. It takes one line and we’ll give you a straight answer.
